More than 25 upgrades have already been revealed for the iPhone 16 Pro models, with many new features added.
Apple is reportedly considering using microlens technology to increase the brightness of OLED displays on next year's iPhone 16 models, potentially improving camera performance.
The main camera of the iPhone 16 Pro Max gets an upgrade with a 12% larger sensor than that of the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max could be the first to include a super-telephoto periscope camera with a focal length greater than 300mm, a significant improvement over last year's model.
iPhone 16 Pro models now support up to 40 WTS of wired charging, a significant jump from the previous limit of 27 watts, and wireless charging has also been improved.
The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will use the A18 Pro chip from TSMC's second-generation 3mm process, offering potential performance improvements.
iPhone 16 will feature improved microphones with improved signal-to-noise ratio and water resistance, designed to support new AI features.
iPhone 16 Pro models will support up to 2TB of storage, a significant upgrade over previous models.
