I know I talk about the algorithm all the time because it's important to understand how it works BUT the content you create matters even more.
All the tips and tricks won't make a difference if you haven't nailed down your content, messaging, and branding.
There is a LOT of competition on IG, so the question you need to ask yourself is “how can I stand out?” »
This list will give you a good starting point:
A unique ID: If 1,000 people have a similar ID, how will you stand out when someone scrolls down and sees the same name variation on every reel?
Quickly capture their attention with your video, your text or both! 4-7 seconds is enough with hooks, B-roll, audio/relevant trends. Boom.
Be in your videos: people follow and buy from people. They want to see YOU.
Don’t just copy and paste what others are doing: take inspiration from it, but make it your own.
Share your story: Use the caption to tell a story, provide VALUE and keep the reader engaged and wanting to know more.
Don't build your brand around a product: build your products around your brand and your mission.
